Moving ahead with STRETCH GOALS!
Friends, you've made an incredible impact overnight - literally. We'll be the first to admit that we never expected to break our initial fundraising goal in just one day on Indiegogo, but... in retrospect, knowing all of you, it really shouldn't have come as a surprise. It's incredible heartening to find that people are just as passionate about Star Trek: Deep Space Nine as we here on the team are, and we hope very much to do justice to that group passion.
With that said, our campaign is far from over. Our initial goal was selected as the bare minimum we would need to get the film to completion, and we've still got a month to see how far we can go. Raising further funds is important as it gives us additional resources for things like original music, additional licenses for clips, ability for more and extended interviews, CGI and extended graphics, surround-sound mastering, and much, much more. We're committed to bringing you the best film possible, and with additional funding comes even further options for creativity and professionally finishing in the process.
We hope you'll take a look at our new STRETCH GOALS CHART:
As you can see, reaching our next milestone will help insure we can produce a quality film that is not only TV-length, but feature-length in runtime (and scope!). Other milestones help unlock film opportunities AS WELL AS Indiegogo perks (yep, we heard you, you want the extended cut of the writers room discussion!). We'll update this chart on our homepage as our campaign continues, and we hope you'll continue to check back throughout the month as we add new rewards, share video clips, and perhaps even hear from the cast themselves!
You're part of our crew now. We hope you'll wear that badge with pride and continue to spread the news to other fans and friends who are able to join the team. Follow us on social media, share the campaign by email, and generally... MAKE SOME NOISE!
Wouldn't it be great to actually get some attention brought back to DS9 through this campaign?
